Navigating the patient profile
The main page of the patient profile provides a summary of the patient's activity on Embodia. There's a navigation menu at the top of the patient profile:
Here's a brief overview of each tab shown in the image above:
- Summary: here you will find a summary of the patient information. If you are using Embodia's EMR and Practice Management System, you have the ability to save additional information by using patient properties, such as the patient's phone number and address, doctor's information, and referral source. To learn more about patient properties take a look at the help article, Using patient properties. If you are part of a clinic on Embodia, you can also share the patient profile with a colleague in your clinic.
- Programs: a summary of active and completed exercise programs prescribed to the patient. We will go into this in more detail in the help article Viewing the programs prescribed to a patient.
- Charting: here you can find chart entries and uploaded files. Charting is a Tier 3 (EMR & Practice Management) Membership feature and is discussed in greater detail in our Charting course.
- Consults: view a summary of upcoming and completed consults with this patient, or schedule a new consult. View any clinical cases the patient belongs to or start a new clinical case, check if the patient is on the waitlist, or add the patient to the waitlist, and view any consent forms shared with the patient and whether the patient has provided consent.
- Education: view a summary of all education that has been shared with the patient or share new education.
- Progress: view progress diary entries (if your patient has shared any with you). View any PSFS you have shared with the patient or share a new PSFS, and view or share questionnaires. You can share new single or recurring questionnaires, complete a questionnaire with your patient, and see if your patient has completed a questionnaire. We go into more detail about questionnaires and outcome measures in the Questionnaires on Embodia course.
- Billing: billing is a Tier 3 (EMR & Practice Management) Membership feature. You can learn more about billing in our Billing course. In the billing tab, you can see patient invoices, generate a new invoice, view uninvoiced consults, and generate individual or combined invoices for any uninvoiced consults. You can also view any policies on the patient's account or add a new policy. Lastly, you can view or add new packages or memberships and gift certificates as well as redeem a gift certificate.
- Communication: view any emails or SMS reminders that have been sent to your patient on your behalf.
